On a past research kick-off meeting with the
Impulse Group at the
University of Utah, an early end to
the technical meetings left the Scale Group with some
time to explore the local terrain. True to our name, we chose to
head in the upwards direction, scaling the
Lake Blanche trail in the
Wasatch Mountain Range from 6600 to 8926 feet.
A US Geological Survey Benchmark at the peak of our hike.
The weary but well-hydrated travelers in front of Lake Blanche.
Future group bonding experiences under discussion include bungee jumping,
skydiving, firewalking, and running the Boston Marathon.
